Thank you for your interest in membership in the Golden Retriever  Club of San Diego County.  GRCSDC was founded in 1971 dedicating itself to the preservation and protection of healthy, loving, multipurpose golden retrievers.  Our mission still remains the same.  We have many club members that are involved with a variety of activities with their much loved goldens such as conformation, obedience, field, agility, tracking and therapy dog work.  Many members just enjoy having goldens as family members.  Above all, we share the love and joy of owning a golden retriever!

Also as a member, you would receive our monthly award winning e-newsletter, "Golden Gems."  It is filled with all kinds of information about what is going on in the club, i.e., Specialty Show information, upcoming activities, health screening clinics, plus stories and articles of interest to golden owners.

The first step to becoming a member of GRCSDC is to fill out an application.  The Membership Application (in PDF format) can be downloaded off this site (by clicking this link) or you can request a club information packet via email at GRCSD@aol.com or contact our Membership Chair, Kristen Briggs, directly at briggskk@gmail.com. 

As a member of GRCSDC you are agreeing to the preservation and protection of the healthy, loving golden retriever as well as the Code of Ethics that was established by the Golden Retriever Club of America.  Your $25 membership fee covers an entire family membership as well as all your dog family members.  Non-goldens included too!  After we receive your completed application and dues, your application will then be read at the first Board meeting following its receipt and then be considered for membership.

We hope that you choose to become a member of GRCSDC and enjoy all the benefits that come along with it.  As always, visitors are welcome at our quarterly meetings.  We look forward to seeing you soon!
